| I have time to explain what I did for Valentine's Day, finally. (I hate you school. You know that?) Anyhoo...
So on Monday morning, I started the day with a rose with baby's breath flowers from Nick.I showed it to my mom as I was announcing myself to leave to school. My mom has already predicted I'm gonna get some sort of flowers. I think I got roses last time too, or was it carnations? **confused** Oh well. Nick was really surprised about my cookie gift basket I did from scratch. Me and arts & crafts are best friends. XD Go chocolate-chip, almond, oatmeal cookies! (I still have some cookie dough at home. Yay!!!)
Off to school, we go after I put the flowers in a vase with water. I received my present: strawberry swirl cake! It smelled realy good, looks like it exploded though. Nick gave the 411 about that. It was a good laugh. (Don't hurt me, dear! @_@) Read the card he gave me, and it was so sweet. Time to add that to the 1st card in my nightstand drawer. ^__^
Went to class and then during our long break, Nick and I went to Quizno's for some subs, hanged out at the park and ate. Nick tried out my cookies and liked them. Yay!!! And I tried out his cake!!! Double yay!!! Hehe... He eventually got to my card and read it aloud. (Don't make fun of my grammar. That's my 1st and only draft, y'know.) He was vvery pleased with it and I got a big hug and a kiss. <3
Returned back to school. Went to art history. Afterwards, went to the Block. Nick was hoping that Anson or JJ was working at the photo studio that day, but I had to remind him that it was Valentine's Day and they're probably on a date or something. =\ We walked around for a long time, wandered in and out of stores and eventually had dinner at Tu Tu Tango. I got Soup de Leon and Gator Bites while Nick got expensive quesadillas. (Note: get quesadillas from a Latino restraurant not a Cajun restraurant. Too expensive and small.) I liked my soup; it was SO tasty. X3
After dinner, we went to MainPlace to take our Valentine's Day pictures since Nick thought the place at the Block was unreasonably expensive. (Which was true.) More wandering around and eventually we got our pictures and headed home. Very good day, tiring... But good. ^__^

One of the two poses we chose for Valentine's Day. <3
| I joined myspace.com today. Curse you, bandwagon. I have my latest studio pic with Nick that I took on V-day yesterday on the site. I'll make a longer post about my Valentine's Day when I'm not busy. =3

| Well today, I hanged out with Kyo and Khanh. While waiting to get my haircut at the Supercuts near Marukai, we went to Book Off. Too bad I forgot my coupons. I could have gotten something. Oh well. Then got my haircut. The woman to did it really did it well. I gave her a decent tip and went on my merry way. I rejoined the party again as Kyo and Khanh were at the cashier to pay for Japanese snacks and stuff. We then headed to MainPlace, which was quite a drive. During the trip, we ate mochi and Khanh kept eating all the green tea ones. I successfully got my hands on the last one. Yatta!
Finally reached MainPlace and got pictures taken. Took a trip to Pat & Oscar. Got fat from breadsticks and all. My stomach is kinda hurting right now. Thank goodness for the Pepto-Bismol on my desk. XD;;; Returned back to choose our pics. Khanh got herself the proof once we received our pictures. Personally, I kinda like the photo place near La Casa de Garcia; they give it to you for free. Their quality is kinda poor though. =\ Anyhoo, it was a rather good day. Now I must do some manual labor for tomorrow. /wah
It's times like this I should wear some makeup. I need color. :o
| Ranting About Yesterday's AC Event
I don’t how what people’s impressions were for the Appleseed event, but personally, it could have been a lot better. What pisses me off was how our dinner was organized. I don’t know about you but I felt really crappy.
One incident was getting directions to Ebisu. I posted the address and it was up to that fuckin’ idiot to go through Mapquest to get directions specifically from where they are coming from. I’m not your mother. I’m not going hold your hand and guide you. It’s your fuckin’ responsibility. You’re an adult. Act like one instead of being an ass about not making it on time.
Another thing is people being late. The event was scheduled at 7:00 PM. I can tolerate being 15 minutes late, but once it hits 30-45 minutes, then I wonder if you even care about coming. You should know there will be traffic before 7:00 PM and plan ahead of time to head to your destination. In a secure work place, you wouldn’t have been left off the hook for being late. In fact, it threatens your character. I did not appreciate Kyo rubbing it in my face about most of the members being late and Ebisu being entirely full. Maybe she didn’t mean it in such a way, but still, I got that impression. If people did arrive on time, we would have been seated a long time ago. There WERE plenty of seats at 7:00. Unfortunately, more customers came while we were waiting for the remaining members to come.
I know that we had plenty of time after eating, but I think this is bothersome for those who do make it on time. It’s like punishment for being punctual. I hate waiting on people with excuses for being late. You’re late because you’re late. That’s that.
As for Appleseed, for crying out loud, we’re not the only ones in the theater. Stop acting like it’s your play thing and you can do whatever you want. It’s a public area; therefore other people will be there. We were really rude to those who wanted to watch the movie that weren’t in our club. You may think that everyone may be laughing during some of the scenes, but in fact, it was just our club being noisy. That was a disrespectful display of behavior that I saw yesterday. I know you guys want to have fun, but don’t forget other people do too who aren’t exactly like us.
Next time, if I must, I’ll go on ahead instead of waiting. I’m tired of grinning and bearing it. I’m human and frankly, I’m tired of going through this shit every time with our club members. You’re not worth my time and effort to get frustrated and be angry about. In other words, screw you guys. If you really care about attending an event, you should have arrived on time then. Excuses are for losers who want the easy way out.
| Finally a post on Xanga after who knows what. I've been quite busy for the last few weeks with several art projects piling up. But now it's all over! Yay! No more school until a month or so. Happiness! Now I can have all the sleep I want and play Star Ocean and what not. ^__^ Feels good to just relax after having two weeks worth of projects to work on. Just need to clean up my room today. Visitors tomorrow. My sis really wants to go shopping and questions when we could. That's what I want to know. =\ **sighs** There is always after Christmas sales. ^^;;; | | |
